Jennifer Paige - "Crush"

I was driving through Indianapolis when I first heard "Crush" from Jennifer Paige on the radio.  It was 1998, but the song sounded like it came from Mariah Carey's early-90s playbook: a bouncy pop groove supported by layers of rangy vocals. The song became a big pop hit shooting all the way to #3, yet it stalled on the Adult Contemporary charts (peaking at just #23). Unfortunately for Jennifer Paige, she became another name among many late-90s one-hit-wonders.
