Among the popular themes for songs, there's love, loss, and time. The Alan Parsons Project got in on that action when they released one of their biggest hits of all time (aptly called "Time") in 1981.

All lyrics are woven from emotions...typically love and loss.  As a performer, is it therapeutic to get on stage at city after city and rehash those memories or do you just go through the motions forgetting about the lass who broke your heart in 1979?  (Christopher Cross, this question is for you.)
