Robert Palmer - "Every Kinda People"

The catchy feel-good tune "Every Kinda People" first introduced the world to Robert Palmer in 1978.  Heck, given the current political climate, the tune could very well be a campaign song for the next Democratic presidential nominee.  Palmer later remixed the song again in 1992 propelling the song to #8 on the Adult Contemporary Chart.

John Mayer - "Waiting on the World to Change"

During the height of John Mayer's reign, he scored a #1 Adult Contemporary hit with "Waiting on the World to Change".  At the time, it was Mayer's first social commentary about the political scene from that era (2006).  Over the past handful of years, John Mayer has been MIA.  Should someone do a well-being check on him?
