Peter Frampton "Baby, I Love Your Way"

Add Peter Frampton to the list of classic rockers calling it quits this year. Frampton recently announced his farewell tour which includes a stop in Chicago this summer. Blame Frampton's health for this as he also announced he's suffering from IBM (Inclusion-Body Myositis) -- a progressive muscle disorder.  He discovered he had the condition three years ago after suffering from an on-stage fall. While there's no cure for the disease, Frampton is taking part in a drug trial at Johns Hopkins University. Having played the guitar for 60 years, he's a realist and wants to go out on top. He told CBS This Morning this is his farewell tour -- if his drug treatment works, the next tour would be the miracle tour. One dollar from every ticket sold on his farewell tour will help fund research into his debilitating disease. 

The Eagles "Get Over It"

Taking personal responsibility is not something most folks do. This theme resonated with Don Henley who (along with Glenn Frey) turned their rage into "Get Over It" -- a song that became The Eagles' first hit in nearly 15 years. "Get Over It" put the rock band back on the radio (and well as the road) again in support of their Hell Freezes Over tour.

Shawn Mullins - "Lullabye"

The following are not the actual titles for Shawn Mullins' 1998 hit "Lullabye":

• Rockabye
• Everything's Gonna Be Alright
• Bye, Bye

The haunting ballad about the wide-eyed girl chasing her dream of becoming a star was Mullins only hit.  Mullins himself admitted that he often wondered what business he had opening for acts like The Backstreet Boys and Destiny's Child back when he was the flavor of the month.  When you hear the song, you can almost hear Mullins channeling Matthew MacConaughey.  To be fair, if MacConaughey actually sang the song, the title would be "Everything's Gonna Be Alright Alright Alright."
