Jimmy Buffett "Mexico"

Jimmy Buffett remade James Taylor's "Mexico" for his Barometer Soup album in 1995. The song became a top 10 hit for Buffett on the Adult Contemporary Chart and also helped sell a few more margaritas.

PM - "Piece of Paradise"

Before being the bassist of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, Jim Mayer belonged to the rock group PM with his brother Peter.  PM produced the top 10 hit "Piece of Paradise" in 1988.  A year later, Jimmy Buffett signed Jim Mayer to play in his Coral Reefer Band.  Buffett and Mayer have worked together ever since.
