Peter Cetera - "Restless Heart"

According to this blog, the legend of Peter Cetera is a mighty one.  However, Cetera's reign on popular music was reaching its twilight years by 1992.  His days as lead singer of Chicago were far behind him and his solo efforts were lost on mainstream radio.  Despite this, the Adult Contemporary format kept plugging his music in between Phil Collins, Billy Joel, and Elton John records.  While "Restless Heart" was Cetera's only Top 40 hit from World Falling Down, it did sit atop the AC Charts for two weeks in 1992.

Peter Cetera & Chaka Khan - "Feels Like Heaven"

"Feels Like Heaven" is one of those power ballads that got lost in the shuffle.  Peter Cetera released the song during a time of massive transition on the radio.  Gone were the days of Cetera and his contemporaries ruling the Top 40 chart as the early-90s saw the move from pop to alternative, rap, and urban songs dominating the Top 40.  The Adult Contemporary audience was all that was left to embrace "Feels Like Heaven", and the song found success there (#4).

Peter Cetera - "Even A Fool Can See"

Love songs and Peter Cetera went hand-in-hand during his solo days.  Then Cetera turned a corner in 1993 with his post-breakup tune"Even A Fool Can See".  The single came from his heartbreaking World Falling Down album which detailed life following his divorce.  They say that every melody contains a memory, and the pain in this song is obvious.
