Simply Red - "Holding Back The Years"

When I hear "Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red, I think of this cold room with walls covered in dark wood paneling where an old rich English guy smokes a pipe while he longingly looks at pictures of his estranged family.  He hasn't seen his former wife and son in years, but he seems to pull the photos out quite often these days.  He is not in contact with them, yet he wonders where they are today...if they are happy...if they are successful...if they ever think of him.  He keeps holding on to the memories and uses the photo album whenever his memory needs a jolt and his heart needs softening.
