Seemingly, the only time you ever hear them is at the grocery store or your local CVS. Joshua Kadison - "Jessie"
Whenever Alanis Morisette's "U Outta Know" comes on the radio, someone is always quick to spread the rumor that the song is about actor/comedian Dave Coulier. But is it? We may never know. Soft rocker Joshua Kadison had a breakthrough hit in 1993 called "Jessie". The song tells a sad story that we all could relate to about an on-again off-again romance between two people. Who was this Jessie that had Joshua packing up Moses the cat in hopes of rekindling a relationship? Rumor was that "Jessie" was about Sarah Jessica Parker, whom Joshua dated but broke up with prior to the song being recorded. In 2004, Joshua announced on his website that he was bi-sexual. Perhaps "Jessie" was an ex-girlfriend or maybe even an ex-boyfriend. We may never know...
