Chicago - "You're The Inspiration"

Super producer David Foster worked with Kenny Rogers on a song that became the inspiration for "You're The Inspiration".  Rogers wanted Peter Cetera's help, so Foster quickly phoned Cetera for assistance.  Cetera finished writing the lyrics for the ballad while traveling in Italy.  When Kenny passed on the song, Cetera recorded it with Chicago in 1984 and then later re-released it on his solo album in 1997.
