Phil Collins, Elton John, and Gloria Estefan dominated Adult Contemporary radio back in the 1980s and '90s, yet have disappeared from modern radio. Seemingly, the only time you ever hear them is at the grocery store or your local CVS. Grover Washington Jr. "Just the Two of Us"
Rarely do children look forward to their parents talking about their job each night over the dinner table, but in one instance we did. My mother worked for a doctor's office and one of the doctor's friends named "Grover" would call into the office demanding to speak to the doctor. My mom usually answered the phones and had the pleasure of speaking to Grover. She said the conversation followed the same script with every phone call.
