Lionel Richie - "Don't Wanna Lose You"

It's true: Lionel Richie shares a song title with Gloria Estefan ("Don't Wanna Lose You"), but the similarities between the songs end there.  Lionel's midtempo ballad actually cracked the Hot 100 List in 1996 but fared much better on the Adult Contemporary Chart (peaking at #5).  Estefan's ballad went to #1 in 1989 (#2 on the AC Chart).
