Dave Matthews Band "Ants Marching"

Dave Matthews Band is arguably is my generation's Jimmy Buffett -- meaning that year after year, fans flock to see DMB play the same set list while they drink (and smoke) too much. Aside from Nickelback, can you name a band as divisive as Dave Matthews Band? People either seem to really love or loathe Dave Matthews. I'm happy to say I'm somewhere right between indifference and who cares?...

Hinder - "Lips of An Angel"

For every Flintstones, there was The Jetsons.  For every Diff'rent Strokes, there was Webster.  For every Nickelback, there was Hinder.  Enter the rock group's "Lips of An Angel" sung by a guy who sounded like he had a sore throat and was angry.

Santana f/ Chad Kroeger - "Into The Night"

Think of a wildly successful band that's hated almost more than it's loved.  Justin Beiber?  You could probably put him at the top of the notorious list up until his most current album.  How about Nickelback?  Bingo!  Despite the band's haters, Nickelback is the second-best selling foreign act in the US (next to The Beatles!) and has racked up more than 50 million album sales worldwide.  It's tough to argue with numbers like that, yet Nickelback always seems to turn up near the top of informal lists of most-disliked bands.  Lead singer Chad Kroeger joined forces with guitar legend Carlos Santana for one of a few new tracks on Santana's Ultimate Santana compilation disc.  The result was a tune that was all over the radio in 2007.

Nickelback - "Savin' Me"

Nickelback: the Canadian rock band that everyone wants to hate.  "Savin' Me" was a huge international hit in 2005, but only reached #29 on the Adult Contemporary Chart.
