In the same way that Ryan Adams does not want to sing Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69",  Passenger does not want to sing "Let Her Go" by Indina Menzel.  The two songs debuted around the same time in 2012.

Colbie Caillat - "Brighter Than The Sun"

The beautiful and talented Colbie Caillat very quietly has dominated adult radio over the past decade.  With a handful of radio-friendly hits beginning with 2007's "Bubbly", Colbie made a name for herself despite never really becoming a household name.  The light and summery "Brighter Than The Sun" exemplifies Colbie's California sound.  The song went to #1 on the Adult Contemporary Chart in 2012 and is perfect to hear as we hold onto the waning days of summer.
