Seemingly, the only time you ever hear them is at the grocery store or your local CVS. 28 Years
That was how long it took for Aerosmith to finally crack the #1 spot on the Hot 100. It happened in 1998 thanks to "I Don't Want to Miss A Thing" -- a song created for the Armageddon Soundtrack.
