Larry Elgart & His Manhattan Swing Orchestra "Hooked on Swing"

Midway through my college years (late-1990s), the swing dancing craze swept through Bloomington, Indiana thanks to bands like The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and Cherry Poppin' Daddies.  A swing music uprising also surfaced back in 1982 when Larry Elgart & His Manhattan Swing Orchestra charted the big band song "Hooked on Swing" -- a medley of hits like "In the Mood" and "Sing Sing Sing".
