Thompson Twins "Nothing in Common"

Formed in 1977, the Thompson Twins were neither named Thompson nor twins. Their name derived from a pair of detectives in the comic strip The Adventures of Tintin. By 1986, the "Twins" were no longer a threesome as band mate Joe Leeway left the group. The remaining duo continued as the Thompson Twins until 1993 when they changed the band's name to Babble. This year, Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins is touring with the B-52s and Culture Club.
